New City Photographs...

I know, I know, they look pretty much the same, but i had reasons. Myself and everyone else I'd spoken to loved the original shelf city photos... There was a problem though. I took those photos of the first shelf city I'd ever made, and the houses had so drastically changed since then. So much more detail goes into them now. So i went out yesterday and tried to set up the same scene. Only a few things changed, one being the type of tomatoes Ive grown in my garden this year. I think i got a pretty good replica though, i even like the lighting better.

On another note, I'm hoping to have new things start popping up in the shop soon (most of them not in clay- i think Ive dabbled in that enough for all of us). This time likely paper goods along with some terrariums Ive been growing. A long time ago i thought that two shops would be better than one. I could achieve unity. But through experience Ive learned that keeping up with two different shops is much more complicated than it looks. Now i just have to decide which one to use....

Of course my first true Etsy love was with "The Oak Leaves"...
However, its been since Christmas since Ive had that shop up and running, have people forgotten about it. At "Weeds and Wild Things" Ive gained some more recent credibility. I'm really not sure, but I'm leaning towards "The Oak Leaves". I had more sales there... and i can always leave the other shop open to direct people to it for a while. Hmmm, what do you think?

I think you should re-open The Oak Leaves. I really would love to have one of your terrariums! :)

thats so hard. both shop names have a good sound to them, but The Oak Leaves feels warm and earthy, a place i'd like to explore. seems like you are leaning this way. you can always change your mind too. it's your shop!
oh and the photograph is great!

Thanks for the feedback guys! i just reopened The Oak Leaves a few days ago, no sales yet... but hopefully soon. It definitely seemed to throw people off a bit... But im happy to be "back home" in my original place again.

As far as the camera goes, its my husbands and i have no idea what kind it but ill find out for you, i really love it. I only have an old slr, and film is far to expensive to experiment with right now :)
