I found this amazing quilt on Whipup this morning...
I think its just perfect. Unfortunately Ive learned that i have no patience for making quilts, though. Ive tired several times, and still have several unfinished tops. Maybe this one looks worth the trouble though. I love how its not all perfectly geometric. It really does remind me of a forest.
My favorite quilt pattern is the log cabin. They remind me of old colonial homes. I was thinking instead of making a huge quilt to start with maybe i should make and frame some small versions just to get started.... Perhaps that will be the first art project for my "bettering oneself experiment" (more on that later:)
