Today was a pretty good day all in all
But this afternoon, having turned over the garden beds,
(because we were far too lazy to do it in the fall as we should have)
We dug into the compost pile for the first time...
This lovely richness had been silently lying in wait
We MADE that.
out of hundreds of things...
I couldn't be more happy with myself at present.
(And neither could my garden I'm sure)
