In the garden...


These are the morning glories that ate my garden...

That's right, they gobbled it up right before my eyes. I didn't even plant them this year, but last years seeds were obviously pretty determined... They climbed right up and over the sunflowers and right into the tomatoes, and now they're all you can see. Apparently they bloom a luscious velvety purple or white. I unfortunately never get to see this, as i sleep in a lot later than they do. However, after thier day is done they still find ways to delight me.


Here you can see my favorite part... After an eventful morning show, they tuck in to become the most intriguing little things. What texture and interest they bring to the afternoon garden.


Morning glories are one in a long list of things i am thankful for this year.
